Chant Therapy

Chant Therapy and Satellite Data

What is Chant Therapy?

Chant therapy is a scientifically backed technique that uses vocal sounds and melodies to enhance emotional and physical well-being. Studies show that structured vocal exercises can improve cognitive function, reduce stress, and enhance social interaction.

Satellite Data and Urban Well-being

Using Copernicus and Galileo satellite data, MOVERE 2.0 identifies urban areas with high environmental stress and limited access to green spaces. This allows us to map optimal locations for chant therapy interventions.

Comparing Data Across Cities

To demonstrate the impact of environmental factors on mental health, we analyzed satellite data from different cities:

City Green Space Coverage Air Pollution (NOโ‚‚) Stress Index
Cagliari, Italy (Sardinia) 35% Moderate High
Florence, Italy (Tuscany) 42% Low Medium
Verona, Italy (Veneto) 30% High High
Aarhus, Denmark 50% Low Low
Vilnius, Lithuania 45% Moderate Medium
Berlin, Germany 38% High High

Collaboration and Mapping

MOVERE 2.0 is working with families, schools, and institutions to map locations suitable for chant therapy. We aim to provide a list of music schools, conservatories, and green spaces where therapy sessions can be conducted.
